If you want to know the extent of repression and fear on campus, ask your professors these questions:
"Do you feel like you can speak out about the cancellation of ASSASSINS?"
"Do you fear being reprimanded by the administration if you voice your opinions?"
When they answer, then ask them, "Why?"

ASSASSINS MUST BE PERFORMED!!!!
This website was created out of the anger that is felt towards Dr. Brown's cancellation of ASSASSINS and the limitation of free speech on the Arkansas Tech University campus.
These are a list of our goals:
1. That Stephen Sondheim's musical ASSASSINS be performed in public by the Arkansas Tech Theater Department.
2. Dr. Brown must issue a personal apology to the theater department. He must acknowledge the emotional stress that he has caused the students, especially those that were to use the performance as a senior project for graduate school.
3. Free Speech must be allowed on campus. The ArkaTech and the radio/television must stop being censored by the administation. Faculty members and students must no longer live in fear of reprimand from Dr. Brown.
Please print these goals and use this as a petition around campus. If anyone confiscates the petition, remind them that you have a first amendment right to gather names in this cause and to alert other students of this terrible situation.
